Swiss foreign trade has proven to be enormously successful in 2018. The results have shone that the export has beaten new record of +5,7% since 2010 in nominal terms, while import reached 8,6 % of growth, which equals 200 billion francs. Ongoing adjustments, such as updates to the
FINMA ordinance, reflect Switzerland’s proactive management of regulatory frameworks. The trade balance, in its turn, showed surplus of CHF 31.3 billion. Cultural and brand-related initiatives, such as
Swissness management, are also crucial in maintaining Switzerland’s competitive international reputation.
Continued negotiations and agreements, such as the
Swiss UK trade, also play a significant role in strengthening Switzerland’s global trade relationships.
